WP25.8 Chestnut Ridge from Wilson Park (Carrboro)

Note: weather is forecast to be good on Saturday: mid 50's at the start and low 60's by the end of the ride.

We will take a rest at the intersection with Chestnut Ridge.

We will start out slowly, 12.8-13.0, with a plan to move pace up to 13.5-14.5 mph, depending on the group.

(Faster riders are welcome to start with us and form your own group but the ride leader will stay at slower pace.) The faster group tends to average 14.5-15.0 mph. Faster riders should arrange a meetup point with the leader.

Please respond to this posting with RSVP so leader can know estimate of attendees. Please bring your own cue sheet or download the route onto your GPS. I may have a couple of extra cue sheets. We will review the ride briefly - introduce ourselves, and review important safety tips.
