What we’re about
The short term goal of the group is to learn from each other and see how people in other companies solve their problems, how they do work, get new ideas that you can try out in your team, etc.. So we want to make this a place for active discussions, problem solving and learning.
We want to build a strong community of engineering leaders and increase the level of engineering management talent. We want to keep this group going with monthly in person meetups and bring in experienced guest speakers from successful companies, create smaller discussion/problem solving groups, do classic meetups, do some panels with multiple speakers, etc..

Hello again! As we start hearing Christmas songs on the radio and performance reviews are rolling around the corner our last Tech Leads MeetUp of the year will be focused on career growth of engineers with the help of career growth frameworks. You will learn about what they are, how to make the most of them as a lead and how they are implemented and leveraged at two of our biggest tech companies.
Our speakers will be:- Mateja Vrhovnik, Senior Director of Technology at Outfit7
- Florjan Bartol, VP Engineering at Outbrain
They will guide us through the history of changes, decisions and some of the more interesting implementational details around their career ladders/frameworks.
