"That's not something girls do" - Social Tech Meetup

Tech Connect Donostia session #32! We're a social tech meetup focused on creating a relaxed and informal environment to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and learn from each other while sipping a drink or a coffee.

This talk will delve into the role of women in STEM throughout history, where we currently are, where we come from and how you (yes, you!) can help improve the prospects.

About Carolina
Senior engineer and feminist. Ever since I was a young kid I wanted to be a scientist, which means I spent time studying several different subjects before settling and earning an MSc in Computer Science. I've spent more than a decade in the scientific academic system as a student, a researcher and a professor. I've always been passionate about the role of women in STEM and have actively been campaigning for it my entire life.

• 19:00 - 19:15: Arrival and mingling - Get settled in and meet fellow TCD participants 😇
• 19:15 - 20:15: Presentation & participative session
• 20:15 - 21:30: More chitchat and drinks!

🧑 For whom? The group is open to anyone interested or working in tech/business/entrepreneurship/whatever related, including Product Designers, managers, sales representatives, investors, engineers, developers, product owners, digital nomads, etc. Men, women, and any other genders welcome!
