The Tel Aviv Architecture Forum and Meirav Dadash are proud to present “Digital to Building Footprints: How Our Collective Online Presence Will Design the Cities of Tomorrow.” Join us for a conversation about how our digital communities will directly affect the design of our physical ones. In today’s age, more and more of our lives are taking place online, but outside of our smartphones we still exist in the physical realm. By harnessing the vast and easily sortable data of our second lives, we can build cities and buildings more tailored and appealing to the population that will inhabit them. Together with Meirav, we will discover how to better navigate the digital realm, the significance of the impact it can have on the physical, and the tools and practices necessary to best interpret and apply the lessons to be learned from our online communities.
Meirav Dadash is a graduate of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, where she earned a bachelor’s in architecture and focused on its intersection with big data. She has since participated globally in conferences on the topic, and is currently working to launch Dynamic BUD, that will help municipalities pull real-time data to better dynamically manage their cities and more accurately plan for their futures.
