Attingham mansion has been decorated for Christmas, so join me for a tour of the mansion followed by tea or coffee and maybe a slice of cake from the cafe, then a walk around the grounds for those who want to.
You need to book your time slot on line before the visit. I have booked the 11.00 to 11.30 slot.

Attingham Park is a National Trust place, prices are in the photos if you are not a member but still fancy a trip out.

Date: Friday 6th December

Time: 11.00 meet at the hut entrance by the car park.

You do need to book online for this event. Book for mansion and grounds the 11.00 to 11.30 slot
We will meet at 11.00 and then visit the house first.

Duration: 2 to 3 hours

Advice: If you walk around the estate after visiting the mansion you will be walking across open estate land, it can be uneven in places, but it’s mainly a gravel path and across short grass. There are a few low gradient hills but nothing too strenuous.

Cafe: sells a variety of hot and cold drinks, savoury snacks, sandwiches and cakes. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating.

Toilets: public toilets are available.

Parking is free.

Location: Attingham Park is on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Access is opposite the Mytton & Mermaid hotel and is well signposted from the main road. If you are travelling from Telford it will take approx 15-20 minutes to get there.
