Christmas Party, Pot luck Dinner, White Elephant Gift Exchange & Campout

Come celebrate Christmas with us on a privately owned country property just 1 hour east of Dallas. There will be festive decorations and lots of Christmas cheer. Join us for the day or camp all weekend. Enjoy quality time with other outdoors loving people hiking and paddling (I’ll provide kayaks and paddleboards). You can fish the two ponds for crappie, bass, cat and bluegills- catch and release with single barbless hooks only. There are 31 wooded and secluded acres so you can camp wherever you like, we can even provide gear for those who don’t have tents, bedrolls and bags, we just need to make arrangements before the event. The wildlife park next door has over 900 exotic animals. Some can be seen from the road or you can tour the drive through park for $25 per person. Come hang around the campfire and tree house socializing and cooking and eating outdoors with some of the friendliest people around. The Saturday night pot luck dinner will be around 6:30-7:00. We can use my kitchen to prep and serve the dinner if everyone helps with the cleanup. Please bring real food contributions (preferably healthy or extremely tasty or both) and reasonable portions so we don't waste food. Friendly, non barking dogs are welcome. Kids are welcome, just keep an eye on them. Campfires are allowed only in the established firepits. We can do a white elephant gift exchange if you’re interested..If you’re coming out for the day there is no charge. If you are camping you must register and pay through texsafaricamp.com. My homeowners insurance doesn't cover camping. Registering through Hip Camp protects me with a commercial liability policy.
