Party, Camping & Pot Luck Dinner

The weather is cooling off and camping season is here! Join us on a wooded and secluded country property just 1 hour east of Dallas. Come for the day or camp all weekend. You can swim, fish, paddle kayaks and paddleboards, hike, hang out at the campfire and tour the wildlife park next door. The Texas Zoofari Park has 900 exotic animals, many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals. We will have a pot luck dinner around 6:30 Saturday. Please bring a real food contribution and join us. We can do our food prep and serving in my kitchen if everyone helps with the cleanup afterwards. Kids and friendly, non-barking dogs are welcome. There's no charge for day visits. If you want to camp out you must register and pay $22 per night ($12 per night for kids 12 and under) or you can stay in the Hummingbird Tree House for $80 per night for 2 people (plus one kid in the loft).
