What we’re about
Hello!
We are a bunch of new friends who have founded this club and kept it going with the aim to make new friends and create a social circle of 35 to 55 year olds (give or take) living or working in the 4101 postal code. We aim to create a community of friends, doing fun and healthy things and to make connections in the 4101 area.
Please check your RSVPs and we don't like NO SHOWS so please tell us if you can't make it! This is a community, social group, please add a clear photo so we can look out for you at Meet Ups.
Types of activities will mostly be located in and around Kurilpa/ South Brisbane/ West End and include: trivia nights, picnics, pub nights, live music, games afternoons, local community events, walking, kayaking, outdoor activities, plays, movie nights, dancing, and also maybe weekends away (and well all the myriad of amazing activities available to us here in SEQ.)
There's great energy in numbers and also amazing discounts. Several of the group have run meetups before in Sydney and Adelaide and Brisbane (a motorbike club, social groups, movie clubs...) The aim of The 4101 will be relaxed and keeping group numbers smaller so there is an active larger core of members hence opportunities to create meaningful friendships. Please do respect the time put into this organisation update your RSVP and tell us if you can't make it please - in good time.
Also to note: Activities will generally be fun, discovery, community minded, friendship building and health conscious and we are open to suggestions and ideas!
SO, if you are definitely digging the vibe of this tribe, thank you for joining and a big fat warm welcome to THE 4101!
The organisers of this group reserve the right to exclude people and ask members to leave at any time.
