Our aim is for you to enjoy your venue in comfort and to have you arrive at the end of your chosen venue happy and safe as well as satisfied with your leader as well as your venue.
THE HIKE/WALK:
PACE: comfortable pace - please do not go faster than the majority of the group. If you get ahead and do not know the venue you are responsible for yourself. Rule of thumb for safety, wait at all junctions and look behind to make sure you still see the group.
Difficulty: easy to moderate depending on fitness level
Time: approx 3+ hours depending on pace or it can be extended an extra hour or so.
Distance: approx 13.8 kms return
Elevation Gain: very little but there are a couple of long grades especially on the return so you need to be fit.
Bring: snack/lunch, water, poles are useful especially on hills...there a couple of long grades but not steep.
Wear: good footwear, clothing for the type of day, leave dry
clothes/socks/shoes in car just in case it rains.
Season: all year except for unusual circumstances
Be aware of what you are able/capable of doing and come prepared.

Very nice walk through a forested area. Good trail. Nice views as we travel the trail alongside the Fraser River to our destination which is the park by the Mission Bridge. There are some short grades but a longer one on the return to the parking lot.
