Arabia Mountain To The Monastery

About The Trail: Arabia Mountain has several trails systems in the area, including a 20+ mile hiking and biking system that runs from Stone Crest Mall all the way to a 70-year old monastery!

For this ride, we'll take the greenway to the monastery and back. These trails look like the Silver Comet or the Alpharetta Greenway (meaning paved and through the woods), but have far less traffic. Highlights include a hidden lake, some creekside riding, and the monastery itself.

Note: Though you can (and we have!) ridden this trail system on a mountain bike, road bikes are preferred.

Directions/Meeting Spot:
. Take 20 East
. Turn right at exit 74 (Evans Mill Road)
. Drive for about five minutes until the road dead-ends. You will literally be at the trail head.

Note: PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE AS MOST CELLPHONE SEARCHES FOR ARABIA MOUNTAIN WILL TAKE YOU TO THE VISITOR CENTER ON KLONDIKE ROAD, which is miles away from where we start our ride!
