Making our way out of Pill passing the harbour and the custom house then picking up the foot path along the River Avon looking across the river to the Powder House and Sea Mills Harbour. We will make our way through Leigh Woods and over to Abbots Pool where we will stop and have our pick nick lunch. When suitably refreshed we then continue our walk through pockets of woodland crossing streams splashing through some mud and over walking over rolling countryside and farmland returning to Pill.
For those that would like to we will go the Duke of Cornwall or the Star Inn for refreshments and a natter.

• IF you feel the slightest bit unwell on the morning of the walk DO NOT ATTEND and change your RSVP to not going.

Please arrive by 10:15 to be ready for a 10:30 departure.

Voluntary Donations ·
We will be asking for small voluntary donations (suggested 20p) to go towards paying for the groups franchise cost.

**WEATHER**

* If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.
* Unless dreadful weather on the morning of the walk, then the walk will be cancelled by 8 am.

**3 Boot** \- For regular walkers\. One or more steep ascents/descents 6\-8 miles on rough terrain\.
**4 Boot** \- Suitable for strong walkers\. Hilly terrain\, with steep/long ascents/descents\. More than 8 miles\. e\.g\.\, Brecon Beacons or Mendips\.
**5 Boot** \- Suitable for strong walkers\. Hilly terrain\, with steep/long ascents/descents\, often on loose terrain\. More than 10 miles in challenging terrain \(e\.g\.\, Snowdon or Pen\-y\-fan\)\.
