**Join me for the 5th of my**
***"12 Walks of Christmas"* 🎄⛄❄️** 🎅👍😎 ***2024"*.**

**THE WALK 🌄**

* We walk through open fields, hills & valleys, woods & country lanes & over a river or two.
* Walking time 4.5 hrs approx. + lunch & Pub stop so about 5 hrs ish depending how we go.
* Lowest point: - 144 feet,
* Highest point: - 515 feet
* **Total ascent (Up's & down's): - 1171 feet.**

**START TIME & PLACE ⌚**

* **Starting at 10:30am, WALKING BOOTS on 🥾🥾👍 ready to go.**
* Please don't be late & keep us waiting for you 👌.
* Meeting outside The Fox & Badger, Railway Lane, Wellow, Bath BA2 8QG, on the roadside of the Pub.

**VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ FOR BACKMARKING**

* I am looking for some volunteers to help with the important task of "Backmarking" (helping keep the group together), your help would be much appreciated by the group.

**PARKING 🚗**

* Parking available on the surrounding streets, please park considerately & in the car park at the opposite end of village to The Fox & Badger.

**LUNCH 🥪**

* Stopping halfway round the walk for lunch, please bring a pack lunch.
* Also remember to bring enough water for the duration of the walk.

**PUB STOP 🍺 or ☕ maybe 🤔**

* We will be stopping at the famous Cider Pub "Tuckers Grave". Please remember their Cider is pokey stuff 😋👍.
* Please don't eat your lunch in the Pub as it's not the done thing, thanks.

**DOGS 🐕**

* Well behaved Dogs & owners **ARE WELCOME** on this walk but may need to be put on a lead near roads, livestock and as asked to by the walk leader.
* **So, this walk is DOG FRIENDLY** 👌.

**WEATHER 🌞**

* If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.
* Unless dreadful weather on the morning of the walk, then the walk will be cancelled by 8 am.
* **PLEASE CHECK THE EVENT DETAILS ON THE WEBSITE, BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE WALK.**

**VOLUNTARY DONATIONS**

* We will be asking for a voluntary small donation (suggested 20p) on this walk to go towards paying for the running of the group, (franchise cost).
