**Join me for the 7th of my**
***"12 Walks of Christmas"* 🎄⛄❄️** 🎅👍😎 ***2024"*.**

**THE WALK 🌄**

* A leisurely 2 Boot, 5.6 Miles walk through Rainbow Woods onto Claverton Down through woods and open fields.
* Approx. 3 hours + 30 minutes for lunch, so about 3.5 hours in total though it could be longer depending how we go.

**START TIME & PLACE ⌚**

* Starting at 10:30am prompt, Boots 🥾🥾 on ready to go.
* Meeting opposite the entrance to Shaft Road off of North Road.
* Please don't be late & keep us waiting for you 👌.

**VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ FOR BACKMARKING**

* I am looking for some volunteers to help with the important task of "Backmarking" (helping keep the group together), your help would be much appreciated by the group.

**PARKING 🚗**

* Parking is available on the main road & is unrestricted.

**LUNCH 🥪**

* At Sham Castle, we will stop for lunch, with fantastic views over Bath, please bring a pack lunch.
* Also remember to bring enough water for the duration of the walk.

**DOGS 🐕**

* **Well behaved Dogs & owners** **ARE WELCOM**E on this walk but may need to be put on a lead near roads, livestock and as asked to by the walk leader.
* So, this walk is **DOG FRIENDLY** 👌.

**WEATHER 🌞**

* If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before, unless dreadful weather in the morning then it will be cancelled by 8:00 am.
* **PLEASE CHECK ON THE DAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE WALK.**

**VOLUNTARY DONATIONS**

* We will be asking for a voluntary small donation (suggested 20p) on this walk to go towards paying for the running of the group, (franchise cost).

I will be holding the "Debrief" Red Lion Pub 👌 on the roundabout to the west of the start & finish point of the walk.
