**Join me for the 12th and final walk of the**
***"12 Walks of Christmas"* 🎄⛄❄️** 🎅👍😎 ***2024"*.**

**THE WALK** 🌄

* Join me, Simon-C on this walk 6.5 Miles, 3 Boot "Hilly" circular.
* This walk is about half on open fields/track and half on quiet country lanes.
* There are some steep ascents & descents, can & may well be muddy if wet.
* Approx. 3.5 hours walking time + Lunch 30 minutes, approx. 4 hours, though it could be longer depending on how we go and how long we stop.
* Lowest point: - 267 feet.
* Highest point: - 627 feet.
* Total ascent (Up's & down's): - 979 feet.

**START TIME & PLACE ⌚**

* **Starting at 10:30am, WALKING BOOTS on 🥾🥾👍 ready to go, (hopefully), please don't be late, many thanks.**
* We will be meeting on the green by the War Memorial (Not at the Fox Inn) which is in the high street to the right of The Fox Inn, High Street, Hawkesbury Upton GL9 1AU.
* **PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO TOILETS AT THE START OF THE WALK OR ON THE WAY ROUND.**

**VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ FOR BACKMARKING**

* I am looking for some volunteers to help with the important task of "Backmarking" (helping keep the group together), your help would be much appreciated by the group.

**PARKING 🚗**

* Parking available on the surrounding streets, please park considerately and **NOT** in The Fox Car Park and not really the done thing.

**LUNCH 🥪**

* We will be stopping halfway round the walk for lunch, please bring a pack lunch.
* Also remember to bring enough water for the duration of the walk.

**DOGS 🐕**

* Well behaved Dogs & owners **ARE WELCOME** on this walk but may need to be put on a lead near roads, livestock **or** **as asked to by the walk leader.**
* **There may be some styles that you will have to lift your own dog over.**
* **So, this walk is DOG FRIENDLY** 👌.

**WEATHER 🌞**.

* If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.
* Unless dreadful weather on the morning of the walk, then the walk will be cancelled by 8 am.
* **PLEASE CHECK THE EVENT DETAILS ON THE WEBSITE, BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE WALK.**

**VOLUNTARY DONATIONS**

* We will be asking for a voluntary small donation (suggested 20p) on this walk to go towards paying for the running of the group, (franchise cost).

* I will be holding the "Debrief" at the Cross Hands Hotel, (A Green King Pub), Old Sodbury, Old Sodbury Crossroads BS37 9RJ (Just a 7 minute drive, 4.4 miles from the end of the walk) . 😄👌 subject to any restrictions.
