* It is advisory that participants carry hand sanitizer.
* If you **FEEL THE SLIGHTEST BIT UNWELL** on the morning of the walk, **DO NOT ATTEND** and change your RSVP to "Not Going", thanks.
* In order to help pay for the franchise, Simon has asked for us all to pay a nominal 20p for each walk we do. I will collect at the beginning of the walk.

**THE WALK**

* Join me for an 8mile, 3 boot circular walk starting from Cold Ashton.
* Gorgeous views all around.
* There are some ascents & descents, can & may well be muddy if wet, walking poles would be useful if you have them for some parts of the walk.
* Approx 4hours walking time. Based on half an hour per mile but it could be faster depending on average speed of all attending.
* Lunch 30 minutes.
Estimated total time approx 4.5hours.
* Though it could be longer depending on how we go.
* **VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED FOR BACKMARKING**
* I am looking for some volunteers to help with the important task of "Backmarking" (helping keep the group together), your help would be much appreciated by the group. However, I *will be stopping from time to time to make sure all are present.*

**START TIME & PLACE ⌚**

* Starting at **10:30am, WALKING BOOTS on and ready to go,** please don't be late. (The group will only wait for five minutes!)
* We will be meeting in the car park in the village of Cold Ashton. There is a donation box for parking, it would be kind for us all to contribute.
* Stopping half way round the walk for a bite to eat, please bring a packed lunch.
* Please remember to bring enough water for the duration of the walk.
* **DOGS**
* Well behaved Dogs & owners **ARE WELCOME** on this walk. However, dogs will need to be on a lead near livestock and as asked to by the walk leader.
* So this walk is **DOG FRIENDLY .**

**WEATHER 🌞**

* Walk will be on a RAIN OR SHINE basis but if Hurricanes or Whirlwinds are forecast, it will be cancelled!
* **PLEASE CHECK ON THE DAY, BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE WALK.**

**VOLUNTARY DONATIONS**

* We will be asking for small voluntary donations (suggested 20p) to go towards paying for the groups franchise cost.
