Ever wonder about the Bible’s story of the Christmas Star? So have astronomers throughout the ages.

Roland Dechesne of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will guide you through the various potential astronomical interpretations of the story of the Magi and their star. Which interpretation will you favour? Or is it simply a Christmas miracle?

Notes: Location for this Park Talk will be at Haskayne Legacy Park in the pavilion. Please follow Highway 1a East from Cochrane or West from Calgary to Woodland Road. Follow Woodland road to the end where you will see the parking lot off to the left.
