YULE CELEBRATION

After introductions , there will be a short talk about the history, folk practices and correspondences associated with the celebration of the winter solstice - Yule. Participants are invited to share any readings and prayers relevant to this festival. Lisa will give her astro update to let us know what is happening in the heavens between Yule and Imbolc.
There will be a wild-wood visualisation for those who wish to take part, so please bring a cushion or mat if you prefer to sit on the floor. After the visualisation we will hold our annual return of the light ritual.
Once this has been completed it will be time for our annual party which has been moved to Yule from Samhain as we feel it is more appropriate. Any donations of party food will, as ever, be gratefully received but please note that no alcohol is permitted. Really looking forward to celebrating the coming Yuletide with you all. X

In order to recoup costs, a fee of £10 in cash is payable on entry. The Crone's Hearth is a lovely informal group which is not run for profit. I understand that sometimes, members can't make it at short notice due to ill health, family/work commitments or travel difficulties. Please just let me know so that I don't hold back the group waiting for your arrival. Due to the significant number of no shows at each event, coupled with the limitation on numbers attending, we have sadly had to introduce a policy of debarring no shows from booking on to other events.
