What we’re about
A community-focused collective that loves to dive into topics which are often viewed as taboo - mostly about death, dying, grief and the lessons we can learn from these unavoidable experiences.
If you crave authentic connection and deep conversation, you're our kind of people! Pop into one of our free Death Network Collective discussion groups to see what we are all about and then follow your curiosity to one of our workshops or 'deep dive' events.

See all- Death Cafe - Mission ValleyBravo Family Mortuary, San Diego, CA
At a Death Cafe, people—often strangers—come together to enjoy treats, sip tea, and openly discuss death. Our goal is to encourage greater awareness of death, helping us all to live more fully in the time we have.
We’re creating a warm, welcoming space where you can engage in meaningful conversations about a subject that, while often considered taboo, connects us all. Whether you’ve faced death personally or are simply curious about your own mortality, you’ll find authentic, lively discussions with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Our gatherings are led by volunteer facilitators, with the aim of fostering positive, thoughtful dialogue within a supportive community. By coming together as a community, we forge meaningful connections that honor our shared curiosity about death.
