The Project!
We are trying something new in the group to keep us busy and get us creative over the winter. The idea of The Project is pretty simple…
· Choose a Theme: Pick a topic, theme, or concept that interests you.
· Capture Six Shots: Take around six photos that align with your chosen theme.
· Share Your Images: Join us for a meetup around the end of March where you can show your photographs, either in print or projected (details will be shared nearer the time). The pictures will be exhibited at the LCC from the end of March onwards.
Some Ideas for themes to spark our creativity:
· Specific locations - photos of different landmarks, or statues around the city.
· Important people - portraits of people in your life, for example family, friends, colleagues.
· Technical challenge - long exposure shots, infrared, film simulations or intentional camera movement.
· Documentary - tell the story of a local club you are part of, or an issue that is important to you.
We can't wait to see what we come up with - feel free to pair up or work on it together (see below).
There will be EVENTS between January and March on the topic of Projects. You will be advised when and maybe where.
We would like to know who is interested in taking part. Click attend or contact either or both Claudine Meyer and Mark Maclean via the EPMG website, members folder. Please note that Mark Maclean goes under Mark Mac. Once we have the names of the participants we will create a separate group.
