What we’re about
What: Social chess - casual, friendly games of chess. Come by yourself, or bring a friend or spouse to each play and/or watch at individually desired level of interest or skill.
Who: Oriented towards adults of all ages at all interest and skill levels - facilitated by the "It's Good To Be King" chess shop in downtown Elmhurst IL.
Where: Periodically designated food/drink establishments in Elmhurst IL - with food and drinks available for purchase from the regular menu at the location. Currently, at Panera Bread, 108 East North Ave. (southwest corner of North and York).
When: Weekly on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.
What Else? No cost to play and/or watch. Helpful but not necessary to bring a chess set to play on. Also helpful but not necessary to indicate on the upcoming event meetup that you are coming on a particular day. Please check on the upcoming event meetup, immediately before coming on a particular day, to confirm that there are no scheduling or location changes with respect to a usual day.
