Macricostas Preserve, New Preston, CT

Not Wednesday's hike. Similar but on Thursday.

This is a moderate B rated, 5-1/2 mile hike at the 490-acre Macricostas Preserve. There maybe ADDITIONAL miles, (7 +/- TOTAL). Duration 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours depending on the decided distance.
Please bring plently of water, a snack and proper hiking attire, poles if desired.
Temps 48* high 28* low. Sorry but no dogs.
Please arrive early, we DEPART at 9am.
Be aware even dry leaves are slippery.

At an elevation of 1,250 feet, Waramaug’s Rock is a spectacular overlook providing panoramic views of Lake Waramaug and the surrounding areas.
