Haw Creek Park < New Trail For Walking That Turkey Off

About The Trail:
This park near Buford Dam has nearly-flat trails, and offers some interesting hiking and biking trails. Most of these trails loop through the woods - and are almost always in sight of the parking lot so people can stop/start as needed.

Notes:
Distance = Six+ miles
Time: Budget 3 hours
Skill Rating = Very easy
Pace = 2 ½ to 3 miles per hour
Special Equipment = None needed
Other Stuff = No dogs please, nor small children that cannot keep a hiker’s pace

Directions/Meeting Time/Place: From GA 400, take exit 14A east (to the right) for about two miles. Once you pass Samples Road, take the next left onto Echols Road. The Park is on your left, approximately 200 hundred yards up. Please meet in front of the bathrooms in the parking area by 11:55am.
