The Language Party 4th year Anniversary Party!! (Jacksonville Event)

Please join us to celebrate The Language Party’s 4th Year Anniversary Party on 12/13/2024. We will be having a Potluck for Food, foreign language Karaoke, and a Piñata!! Everyone is welcomed to come. Please bring food for the event. Feel free to bring anything from a cooked recipe to a bag of chips. It’s all good let’s have some fun and eat celebrating our 4th year anniversary as TLP! It’s so much fun! It will also be our last event at Historically Hoppy as the bar is closing at the end of the year. So let’s give them a GREAT send off. The Language Exchange Party Bonanza is a free, in-person meet-up to practice and exchange languages. Everyone can attend no matter your language level or target language. This meet-up is to practice conversation in Foreign Languages.

Upon entry to the venue everyone is given flag stickers of their choice based on the language(s) they are practicing and/or native language(s) they speak. These are put in order (usually on your shirt) from most fluent language at the top and least fluent at the bottom. This way people can easily identify other participants trying to practice a common target language. It's a mixer where you find people that speak your target language to practice and language exchange. I'll help you with your English if you help me with my Japanese...for example. Or I'll help you with your Spanish if you help me with my French. That is the meaning of "Language Exchanging". It's a social gathering where you can make AMAZING friends from around the world. We also ocasionally play games for those who like to participate. You can come and participate for all 3 hours or just drop by for 30 minutes there are no obligations except to have fun. It is the perfect way to practice languages in a fun, safe, and very supportive environment! Come check it out!

All languages are welcomed! Common languages participants practice at this event are English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, German, Portuguese, Danish, Italian, Arabic, and many more languages!!
