December Book Club - GROUP 2 : 'The Women' by Kristin Hannah

December's Book Club's Theme is "Simply The Best" inspired by one of my favorite musical artists' Tina Turner's song "The Best" (yes, I know it's a cover) so for this month you got to vote among the best books of 2024 and the winner is.......

1. The Women by Kristin Hannah (Target's Book of the Year + GoodReads Best Book of 2024)
   The #1 bestseller from the queen of historical fiction (The Nightingale, The Four Winds) comes a story described as a gripping historical journey, a fast-paced novel that follows a young nurse's courageous transformation amidst the gritty realities of the Vietnam War, capturing friendship, sacrifice, and the resilience of the human spirit. 'The Women' is currently in development with Warner Bros as a feature film. They purchased the rights before the novel's publication.

Fun Fact: Author Kristin Hannah has some OC roots, born in Garden Grove.
