This Shoreditch Brick Lane meetup is all about different approaches to street photography. We will look at framing and shooting, looking or not looking through your viewfinder, and how to create spontaneous and naturalistic images of street life.

We look at basic shooting approaches, practice ways to gain confidence, and consider how to capture interesting street images. The aim is to help you get into this very popular method of photography and introduce you to some technical and practical approaches.

EQUIPMENT
• Camera - Most cameras will be fine.

• Lenses - We will work with whichever lens you bring to get the best results. For subjects that we can get close to, a lens in the 35-80mm range will be fine. For subjects at a distance a lens that reaches 100-200+ mm would be ideal.

We will have a coffee/tea/photo chat towards the end of our MeetUp in Shoreditch/Brick Lane.
