This 4 week '**ONLINE**' course is for photographers wanting to develop a more **creative approach to their photography,** and will offer guidance in developing an understanding of 3 main photography subject areas - landscape, still life and portrait. The course will run with a small group of photographers over 4 weeks from 27 Nov - 18 Dec 2024, with a 2hr Zoom each Wednesday evening.
Most suitable for those with a basic understanding of ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance and know how to change these on your digital camera. You will need to have manual functions on your camera (i.e. be able to change the aperture and shutter speed settings).

We will

* Explore photographic themes relating to landscape, still life & portrait
* Experiment with exposure and light as part of the creative process
* Practice using the manual functions of your camera
* Consider both documentary and aesthetic approaches to photography

You'll need to be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions and information, with access to The London Photographers School Meetup group online and to Zoom.

**COURSE STRUCTURE**
In addition to the 4 x weekly Zoom tutorials, you will receive 4 photo learning assignments and be invited to contribute to positive critical feedback on your own and each other's photographs by posting the results on this page for tutor and peer comment. In addition to these assignments we will have a final end of course group crit.

**EQUIPMENT NEEDED**
• a digital camera with whatever lenses you have
• a tripod would be an advantage

There will be another 4 week follow up course **More Creative Photography** starting in January/February.

**COST**
**The fee is £110**.
