Londons favourite **alternative Christmas event** is a **huge festive street party** in the **Leake Street Graffiti Tunnels located under Waterloo stations train tracks**. The party event is free with a collection for the Waterloo food bank. So while we look for **revellers, party goers and graffiti artists**, we will practice capturing **colourful festive street portraits** illuminated in **artificial tunnel light**. Working with ISO, manual focus, and night time exposure modes, we will take photographs at the **street event, around Waterloo, and the Lower Marsh**. Expect to see plenty of **party people** including a **saucy cabaret** courtesy of local **drag star - Pi The Mime, salsa dancing workshops, giant board games, a Spray Can Christmas Tree by Leake Street's artist-in-residence** and even an appearance from the **glittering London School of Samba!** and all set against **Leake Street's bold graffiti walls** providing an iconic backdrop.

There’s also a great mix of pop-up bars and food trucks in the tunnels.
**Entrance is free! and Donations for the food bank are collected by cash or card for the Waterloo Food Bank.**

**EQUIPMENT**: Please do not buy any new equipment for this. You are advised to bring whatever equipment you currently have.
Camera - Most cameras will be fine.
Lenses - We will work with whichever lens you bring. A wide angle to normal/portrait lens in 35-80mm range is recommended.
Tripods - can be useful if you have one.
Flash - if not integrated into your camera

This meet-up has a reduced meet-up fee of £10 (usual fee is £25), and you are encouraged to make a donation to the Waterloo food bank.
