Chant for Peace - World Peace Day

Details

The International Day of Peace (World Peace Day) was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981. It is observed on the 21st September every year.
As Yogis and Meditators, we want to commemorate the sentiments of World Peace Day by sharing practices, wisdom and a spirit to cultivate real peace.
For the world to be peaceful we need to be first peaceful within ourselves. By the simple process of mantra meditation and Kirtan, our mind and heart are gradually purified of all kinds of stress, worry, misconceptions and deep-seated fears etc. We begin to experience an ever-deepening inner peace and happiness and increasing insights into life. Our Chant for Peace evening offers everyone an opportunity to take a spiritual journey into a world of inner peace and harmony with a community of like-minded people. Be a part of an immersive and interactive mantra meditation experience as timeless mantras intertwined with soothing and spirited melodies takes you on a journey to deep inner peace and happiness.
Program includes:

  • Kirtan/Mantra Meditation
  • Inner Peace Journey with Soundbath
  • Yoga Wisdom Talk on Real Peace
  • Vegan/Veg Dinner

Program run by donations.

What is Kirtan?
Kirtan, the singing or chanting of sacred mantras, or Transcendental Sound, is an easy yet sublime method of yoga meditation that has been practiced since time immemorial. By the simple process of mantra meditation, our mind and heart are gradually purified of all kinds of stress, worry, misconceptions and deep-seated fears etc. We begin to experience an ever-deepening inner peace and happiness and increasing insights into life.
