Blood on the Clocktower [Social Deduction Game]

Join us for Blood on the Clocktower! This is a popular social deduction game full of lies, logic, and deception. Players will randomly be given a good or evil role, each with a unique ability. This game is similar to Werewolf or Mafia, except it's even more expansive!

We will have 3 simultaneous games running. The plan is as follows (potentially subject to change):

• Beginner game: aimed at people with little to no BOTC experience. The script will be Trouble Brewing (the simplest script)
• Intermediate game: aimed at people with some BOTC experience. The script will be Bad Moon Rising, Sects & Violets, or something similar
• Advanced game: aimed at people with more BOTC experience. The script will include experimental characters and potentially Fabled

These are not hard guidelines. You are welcome to join any game you wish. We might need people to shift around in order to make the numbers work. We'll organize the groups at the event to maximize everyone's enjoyment. We might have 2 games running if there aren't enough for 3.

Things to know about this event:

• This game involves deception, communication, and piecing together information, some of which may be false. You will either be trying to deceive the other players, or figure out which players are trying to deceive you.
• The game length is variable depending on a variety of factors, but a typical game lasts somewhere between 1 to 2 hours.
• Parking in the garage underneath the Lincoln Square South tower is free as long as you leave after 8pm.

WAITLIST POLICY

If the event is full and you sign up, you will be put on the waitlist. If you are on the waitlist it means you are not attending the event. Every time someone cancels their RSVP, you move up 1 spot on the waitlist. If you are 1st on the waitlist and someone cancels, then you will be attending the event. This also means people higher on the waitlist have priority over people lower on the waitlist.

Note: the last two links are for Trouble Brewing specifically. That is the simplest script but there is a chance we may play with a different script at the event. They still give you a good idea of what to expect.
