MEET ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CIRCLE K GAS STATION IN MAYER AT FAMILY DOLLAR STORE SIDE PARKING LOT. WITH GAS TANK FULL & AIRED DOWN AND LEAVE AT 8:00 AM

PHOENIX AREA:
MEET AT CLEATOR AIRED DOWN & READY TO LEAVE AT 8:45 AM. THE TRAIL BEGINS AT CLEATOR.

NO STREET TIRES. TIRE SIZE 33" OR TALLER (LARGE BOULDERS). FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED. ARIZONA PIN STRIPING POSSIBLE, CB RADIO IS MANDATORY.

Return by: Late afternoon to Bumble Bee exit on I-17

Difficulty: Generally a 4 with a couple sections of 5 (see Trail Ratings Page), Other Details: Don’t forget to bring lots of water, a lunch, chairs, and a good spare tire.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS & OTHER DETAILS: Turkey Creek is a fun trip, lots of water crossings, large boulders , tight turns, shelf roads and drop off's. It starts near the town of Cleater and goes down the creek in Black Canyon to Turkey Creek and ends at Bumble Bee and is the end of the run. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO THE HARDER SECTION OF TURKEY CREEK AT THE END OF BUMBLE BEE CREEK. IS OPTIONAL, BIG BOULDERS RATED 7.

TWO (2) BAD SPOTS: WITH GO AROUNDS

1. A rock wall on the right with a very tight road that has large drop off's down to the creek and is slowly being washed out. It has a bypass. We will stop and walk up and look at it and each of you must make up your own mind.
2. Between boulders. You can lose your fender or tail light . It has a by pass which you can take.
