What we’re about
"Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing." -John Stuart Mill (inaugural address, University of St. Andrews 1867)
We are to be an organization based upon basic Christian doctrine, dedicated to honor, principle, equality, self improvement through challenge and hard work.
So what is "The Shield"?
The Shield is designed after a Medieval coat of arms. In the center, over all other symbols, it features a Cross to demonstrate that all we do will be Christ centered. Demonstrating our desire to serve God, on the upper left is the feathered emblem of John of Bohemia (the Blind Knight), with his motto "Ich Dien" (I serve). On the upper right you find the vertical red and white stripes of The Sons of Liberty, thus notifying the world of our dedication to the American Republic. On the lower right, the Cross of St. George, to symbolize our willingness to fight "the dragon" (the beast). And finally, on the bottom left, a set of bindings broken by a sword, Symbolizing our dedication to those who are trafficked.
