Welcome to The Overcomers Performance Group (T.O.P.g.)!
T.O.P.g is to become a team of writers, musicians, actors and actresses, poets, acrobats, dancers, directors, choreographers, humble leaders, and spiritually driven human beings that use the performing arts to inspire, teach, and uplift individuals, families, and communities with the message, and action of LOVE. T.O.P.g. is to become a key component of an emerging non-denominational, all spiritually inclusive living Church, Temple, Holy body of human beings called The Ark Overcomers (T.A.O).
TAO the acronym is a word which means The Way. Before followers of Jesus were called Christians they were called followers of The Way. The Way is Love. The Ark Overcomers believe, whether a Muslim seeking to do the will of Allah, whether a Hebrew seeking to keep the commandments of YAH, whether a Christian seeking to be like Jesus, whether a Buddist seeking to overcome suffering, or whether a Taoist seeking to exist in harmony, LOVE is The Way to becoming all of the above.
The Overcomers Performance Group is being formed to depict and manifest LOVE through the performing arts. T.O.P.g. will inspire viewers with vision, and human beings with hearing ears that listen, to Love Life.
Our group is based on Spiritual Spiral Dynamics and brings together visual, music, performing, and literary artists, knowledge workers, and creativity enthusiasts. We focus on understanding LOVE to Love ourselves, and Love others like ourselves. T.O.P.g. will promote LOVE, the source of positivity, and create a supportive community through music, acting, poetry, movement, and the living spoken word. We engage in educational and charitable activities led by heavenly wisdom, helping the down trodden, trauma survivors, substance abusers, divided families, and the poor and needy to once again find hope, and faith, to Love Life. Join us for a mix of work, fun, and meaningful experiences that celebrate the joy of movement, the power of creative expression, and manifest living praise all in the name of LOVE!
