What we’re about
A Pittsburgh-based discussion group for reading the works of the Inklings (J.R.R. Tolkien, Owen Barfield, C.S. Lewis, and Charles Williams), and their fellow-travelers. As they did at the "Bird and Baby" (the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford), we meet for food and drink while discussing a particular work at each of our (usually monthly) meetings.
If you're coming across us for the first time on Meetup, please know that, as of this date, October 2, 2021, this Meetup group is just being opened again and just announced on the group's existing Facebook page, from which we hope to be having people joining here; so if you're seeing only one member and one attendee right now, have no fear, there are more in the company (the group began as a Meet-up group in 2016 and then moved to FB for a couple years, and now we will be posting meetings in both).
