Tour of Parliament House (2)

Details

Brisbane’s Parliament House is where the business of governing Queensland takes place. And it couldn’t take place in a much grander setting: The 1868 building boasts a beautifully restored interior, a sweeping staircase, and gold-leaf details......and elegant bar!!

The tours go behind the scenes, including access to the Legislative Assembly Chamber, Strangers Dining Room, Speakers Hall, Council Chambers, Speakers Green, River Deck, Parliamentary Library and Members Reading Room.

On sitting days, the public are also welcomed to view Parliament in session from the Legislative Assembly public gallery. Entry is via the Alice Street visitor entrance to Parliament House.

I am very excited to take you on this tour, join me to experience this awesome building and history. The max is 15 so our second tour will be on Tuesday 17th December.

We will meet in the rear Annexe entry down Alice St at 9am prompt with our ID (driving licence) to go through security. We will meet after for a coffee.

Cheers Chris
