## About this event
Join us for our new Community Days, hosted almost every Saturday of the warm weather season this year. Come out to spend time on the land, learn new skills, share meals and knowledge, and tend to your mind, body, and spirit.
You are welcome to come for the whole day or just a portion of it, and to take advantage of the beauty of the Morning View Food Forest and surrounding landscape in whatever way works for you. Each Community Day has a unique line-up of offerings, but the general schedule stays the same each time:
AM:
- 9:00 am: Each day starts with a hands-on work session that gets bodies moving and attuned to the land.
Community Lunch:
- The days offerings will pause for a community meal, which we ask folks to bring a dish to share at, where you can get to know people more intimately.
PM:
- 2:00 pm: Workshop, knowledge share, or skillshare
- 4:00 pm: Open time to indulge in relaxation and restoration activities, including: hot tub, sauna, forest walks, yoga, meditation, or breathwork.
Dinner: On your own -- you can bring your own food and store it in a community fridge if you'd like. There are also restaurants in the area you can visit for dinner.
Evening- 7:00 pm: Evening program: These are generally one of our Films in the Forest documentary screenings, open mic nights, or a drum circle.
Our community days are offered on a donation basis so that anyone who wants to come is able to. You can donate whatever you'd like (or nothing at all!) when you RSVP.
Over time, we want these days to be places where people in our community can share their knowledge with each other. We encourage community members to sign up to lead a knowledge share, skillshare, or mind/body/spirit activity if there is something you would like to offer! If you are interested in offering something at a Community Day this year, please fill out this form and Em will get in touch with you.
** Overnight stays are available. If you'd like to camp the day before or after the event, you can add a camping pass when you RSVP.
