You can paddle in a single or tandem kayak with a buddy. If you prefer, you can choose to stand up paddle (SUP).
Please Note: Please try to get there 30 minutes before, but at latest 15 minutes before, kayaking to check in with the event host, get your kayak, paddle, PFD, discuss the route and rules, and sign required liability forms -- one for Kayaks on the Water and one for our group. Then, we all launch together as a group. We launch promptly at 10:00am.
If you are going to SUP (stand up paddle board), and it is your first time, Kayaks on the Water requires you take a short 15 minute lesson with them. Therefore you must arrive early!
We'll plan for 1-2 hours in the larger "circle" around the bay. Even though life jackets will be used, you must know how to swim to participate in this outing. For the first time, no one under 18 is allowed.

Price is $12hr. cash ($13 with credit card) per hour payable when your kayayk is returned.
SUP contact Kayaks on the Water for rate. Rate varies depending on if it’s your first time SUP at Kayaks on the water ( price is more then kayaking)
This is a really enjoyable activity that burns up lots of calories.
This activity is cancelled in case of rain or bad weather.
Note: Make sure to use sunscreen and quick dry clothing if possible. Bring a towel and if you want to be totally dry afterward, a change of clothing.
Kayaking is a really fun event-- so let's get fit and socialize at the same time. Prediction: It will be a wonderful, warm, and clear day on the water.
