Acknowledgement of Country - The Surfcoast Walkers & Adventurers acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we explore and pay respects to their Elders, past and present, and we acknowledge the First Nations people of other communities who may be here today.

This group is for anyone who loves adventure and meeting new people. We are an 'all inclusive' group who share a passion for the outdoors. We will meet up to explore some of the great walks and outdoor adventures on the Surf Coast and beyond.
People should bring sensible clothing and footwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, a bottle of water and their Bear Grylls sense of adventure. Always read the specific event details as every adventure is different and may require additional gear. If in doubt always contact your event organiser.
The event organiser will plan out the logistics and how to get from A to B, but otherwise we are all independent adults and responsible for own welfare, safety and abilities.
IMPORTANT:
Organisers are not tour guides, it is not a job or business, and therefore have no insurance or hold any responsibility for anything that happens during the events. Organisers are passionate people, inviting other adventurous adults out to connect and join them.
Be awesome and have fun. If you don't turn up to an event you have committed to and fail to make contact with the organiser you run the risk of being blocked. It is rude behaviour and others have missed out on an event they could have otherwise gone on.
