Round Valley Regional Preserve Miwok Trail Hike [NO DOGS] (4+ miles)

Join Randy on this easy hike in Round Valley Regional Preserve in Brentwood. Perhaps you'll get a glimpse of nesting golden eagles, which are protected by State and Federal law. 400 ft elevation gain and no steep hills. We will stop for lunch at about the hike half way point. There is a restroom at the hike starting point.

Park and enter at the parking lot, 19450 Marsh Creek Rd., Brentwood. Dogs are prohibited at Round Valley due to the preserve's status as a sensitive wildlife habitat area. For more info about Round Valley Regional Preserve: https://www.ebparks.org/parks/round_valley/

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience while we get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you cannot attend, so as many people as possible can enjoy this hike.
