Black Diamond Mines Regional Park [4+ miles]

Join Randy in Black Diamond Regional Park for a scenic hike along the Stewartsville and Star Mine Trails. This hike is a little under 5 miles, with a gradual elevation gain of less than 600 feet. For those who are sufficiently adventurous, bring a small flashlight for a 100 yard exploration of one of the accessible mine tunnels. We will stop for lunch at about the hike half way point.

There is a restroom at the mid point lunch stop on this hike. There is no parking fee. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome on this hike.

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience and still get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you find that you are unable to attend the hike.
