☆☆☆ Calling all 20's and 30's Gay/Queer Gals & Nonbinary Pals! ☆☆☆

Come one, come all - We have name tags for you to decorate with your name and pronouns ☆☆☆

The Sydney Gay Gals group is filled with some amazing and lovely gals, but they tend to be quite a bit older than us (matured like a fine wine some would say).

This event is to meet other younger folks for a few drinks, to share some stories, have a few laughs and enjoy a drink or two at a quality pub and make some amazing new friends. Be there and be queer!

We promote a chill and inclusive environment at these events. If it's your first time, make yourself known to one of the co-hosts and we can introduce you to some friendly faces.

This is so we can let the lovely people at the Union know our actual group size, and so folks on the waitlist have a chance to take your spot.

Young Un’s events are meant for friendly socialisation of gay/queer gals and nonbinary pals in their 20s to 30s, from all across our rainbow community.

**Who is a "gay gal"?**
Gay = anyone who falls under the LGBTQIA+ banner. While many of our attendees identify as lesbian, we welcome any who identify as gay, queer, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, questioning, and everything in between!
Gal = anyone who has lived experience as a woman and is comfortable being in a space labelled "gals". We are a Trans and gender-diverse friendly space! If you are trans, non-binary, or gender non-confirming please know that you are warmly welcomed in these events.

We organisers strive to make Sydney Gay Gals safe and welcoming for all members of the queer community. We encourage all attendees to show up with open minds and hearts, and to leave any prejudices at the door.

Swapping contact/social media info with someone you had a great conversation with is totally fine! You can also use the meetup messaging system to get in touch with with someone you have met at a meetup. Please ask in a kind, respectful way. Say something like: "is it OK if we swap numbers/social media to stay in touch?"

It's OK if you are not comfortable giving out your contact details. Remember, enthusiastic consent is the go - “If it's not an enthusiastic yes, then it's a no”. Please be kind, honest, polite and respectful!😊

Further, any unwelcome behaviour or language that is disrespectful, rude, aggressive, offensive/condescending, discriminatory, exclusionary/gatekeepy, any selling of pyramid schemes, illegal/dodgy products/services, forcing of ideas/opinions/beliefs will NOT be tolerated and will result in being removed from this meetup group.
