Details

Neelakantha Meditation is easy to learn and practice, and is governed by the principle of effortlessness. It is a profound practice that works to bring about transformation, healing, and benevolence. It does not involve concentration, controlling the mind, or other forms of effortful manipulation of awareness. It does not require that you have any particular beliefs, any previous study or specific background in order to learn it and practice it with great benefit. For this reason, it is a practice that anyone can learn. Even those who have had difficulty meditating in the past are surprised at how easily and deeply they can meditate after receiving Initiation into Neelakantha Meditation.
When asked about his enthusiasm over teaching Neelakantha Meditation at Temecula Yoga Collective, David said, “I was happy with my meditation/yoga practices, but was increasingly interested in learning more about yoga philosophy. Ashley, my primary yoga teacher, told me about some of the yoga philosophy teachers she had heard about. She mentioned Professor Paul Muller-Ortega, one of the few experts in some particular areas of yoga philosophy that I found especially interesting. After learning more about a one-year study course that was available, I was pleased to learn that Paul offered a synergistic combination of deep practice and study – not just philosophy but a carefully designed program that included Neelakantha Meditation along with supportive practices and study. I began my studies in 2010 and was delighted to find that this combination of practice/study produced results that were significantly better than anything I had experienced.”
