The Way of Poetry

The Way, or in other words, a path concerned with process and arrival and destination.

Too often artists are alone, adrift, or siloed off in their work. In this group, we bring intention and community alongside the poetic path articulated in part by the 17th century Japanese poet, Basho. His classic travelogue, Narrow Road to the Interior, articulates the inner vision of liberation, journey, and poetry that establishes the Way of Poetry.

Each group involves reading and discussion of how to nurture poiesis in our lives. It is a spiritual, creative, and contemplative community building exercise. Come join, undertake your own poetic path with fellow artistic pilgrims!
