ZH3 Hash # 1610: Thanksgiving 2024

Thanksgiving is one year more a hash event!! come and celebrate that one time of year it’s perfectly acceptable to walk around in ‘public’ with your pants undone.

This year it is organized by Just Sophie (kitchen slave) and hared by Premature Cocksucker (Thanksgiving hash) and TBD (Horrors Hash).
The venue is GZ Loogarten. It’s a fun space with plenty of room for us to show off our cooking skills, fill our bellies and hit the dance floor (including an stage to show your performance skills). Dogs are allowed in the venue but the Thanksgiving committee has thought that between the food and loud music we should leave them on the terrace.

This event is limited to max. 40 people!! You are NOT fully registered until you pay.

Thanksgiving pricing for adults (includes snacks, drinks, all you can eat turkey, and sides):

• 35.- CHF/pp early bird price until October 31st (only bank transfer*)
• 40.- CHF/pp regular price until November 29th (only bank transfer*)
• 45.- CHF/pp the day of the event (payment by cash, bank card or twint)

Thanksgiving pricing for kids (includes fatty snacks, alcoholic drinks, greasy meat, and many sweets / candies so your dentist will be richer):

Here's what you need to know about the Hash:
• The aim of the hash is to find the beer stop at the end and have fun.
• "True" trail is typically 6-7km.
• The pace within the group varies from dead-slow movers (we call them DFLs) to over-achieving fast runners (we call them FRBs)
• The "hare" cleverly lays the trail so that everyone reaches the end at the same time.
• If you are a slow runner, you will clock around 7kms.
• If you are a quick runner you will clock around 10kms.
• If you are a walker you will be dedicated to the cause, ignore trail and take the shortest route possible to get to the beer.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and often a place to change.
• There is a charge of CHF5 for participating (and includes beer and snacks).
• If you like fun, drinking and doing something a bit different you will probably enjoy hashing. Humourless people need not apply.

What is The Zürich Hash House Horrors?
The Hash House Horrors is based on the regular ZH3 group for parents and kids. Kids follow a trail in flour or chalk with checkpoints and usual trail markings. True Trail is approximately 3km long with playground stops along the way. We always have a playground stop at the end with a circle and kid friendly Hash songs.
