A popular walk with our members, Ben Shee is a nice steady climb through forest then to the mountain summit in The Ochil's and Fife region of Perth and Kinross. Walking at a medium, social pace at 3kph with breathers along route you need to be physically fit as not a gentle jaunt.
The Fairy Hill of the Ochils, Ben Shee is a small (365m) yet distinctive summit in the Glendevon area with wonderful scenery and views as you climb to the top.
Start / finish: Forestry Commission Glensherup FREE car park near Glendevon grid ref NN 971 051. Glen Sherup - Google Maps Please check sat nav as it can take you to a farm!
Distance: 9 miles
Ascent: 1200 feet / 365m
Walk pace 3kmph - nice social pace.
Cancelling within 12 hours (without good excuse/circumstances) before walk are now shown as NO Shows. x 3 will be removed from group so please make sure you can attend on me volunteering my time to safely see you do this walk.
Walk time around 4 hours with lunch at the top hill to enjoy the views, so don't forget to bring a bite to eat as weather looking good this Sunday.

Travel/Lifts/Car Share -
If anyone can offer a lift or car share from Glasgow/Edinburgh area's please post in messages to then PM (private message) You can then arrange as I don't arrange car travel. There's no busses to Ben Shee.

No Shows will be noted on attendance as far to many people cancelling last minute and unfair on walkers who want to plan ahead to attend.
