What we’re about

Let’s meet online and in person to play and develop some new (or old) acting skills.

Our online acting sessions are for you if:

You ever thought about taking up acting as a hobby.
You did drama in college, university, or school and you miss it.
You ever needed to speak in front of people and wished you had some more tools (and more confidence).
You like to play and be creative (and sometimes silly).
You want to meet people while at home.
You are an adult (but really a child).

We will play, learn skills, create and perform.
We will become more free & confident in front of people.
We will make new friends and get to know ourselves in a new way.

All of the sessions in this Meetup group are online.
All of the sessions are suitable for beginners with little or no experience.
More experienced performers are very welcome to join and play with us too :)
Most sessions are run by Theatre Gym and Tal Jakubwiczova

Hi, I'm Adriana.
I’m an experienced voice actor/coach, and also a filmmaker, producer, writer and editor (and won a few prizes for films I created).
Over the years, I’ve trained hundreds of voice actors, from beginners to advanced, helping prepare them to enter the voice-acting business and even become better communicators in their current professions.
In addition to training, I’ve also hired voice talent for varied productions ranging from commercials to corporate communications to animations and instructional video series.

This course is for beginners

No acting or voice acting experience is needed, we will guide you through these first steps.

You don't need any special equipment to take the course.

This course is great for complete beginners
as well as actors who want to go into the video games industry.

It's also wonderful for D&D and other RPG enthusiasts as you'll get to play with character voices, movement and building worlds.

This is a taster class for our Voice Acting Foundation course.
Join if you want to experience voice acting for yourself.

We’ll talk you through the different worlds of voice acting (it’s not all Disney and Pixar) and the unique opportunities they hold for voice actors.

How to read from the page and sound like you’re not

Simple tricks to make your read more interesting

How your own voice responds to instructions and prompts

You will even get a chance to read a script out loud and get to improve your reading.

We will have a short Q&A session at the end of the class so bring any questions you might have about voice acting.

The workshop is led by voice actor Adriana Davis.

Adriana started voice acting in radio and since has voiced TV commercials, promotional spots, corporate videos, documentaries, instructional DVD series and more.
She's trained hundreds of voice actors from beginners to advanced, and
would love to meet you and introduce you to the exciting world of voice acting.

Just come and discover this new way to be playful and deliver a message

It’ll be great if you’re in a quiet space with no interruptions.
Ideally, a space where you feel comfortable enough to read a silly script aloud.

This 60min session is packed with interesting stuff and we will start on time.
Please arrive a few minutes early so you don’t miss anything.
