This meetup site is a portal to weekly boardgaming events in the Birmingham area.
COVID19 UPDATE: To keep the site clean, only events known to have resumed are listed. We expect most game nights to resume at some point in the future.
You should be aware that individual stores may have policies that differ from one another and local, county, and state restrictions can change at any time.
An event not being listed here does NOT MEAN the store is closed or not allowing gaming. If there are any questions about safety protocols, or in-store gaming policies please contact the store or venue directly.
Our group strives to both a great place for veteran players to get together and play and a perfect gateway for curious newcomers to learn more about the board gaming hobby. Whether your only experience is playing monopoly, or your currently reading this surrounded by your massive boardgame collection, this group has something for you.
We are always looking for new places to play games together! Our recurring weekly meetups and other special events are listed on this site. These are free events and you don't need to bring anything. However, if you have games gathering dust or a new favorite, we encourage all attendees to bring a few games they like so a good selection is available.
Events listed on this site will have a dedicated "host" to make sure you get into a game on your first visit. If you are just curious about the hobby, we happily teach any game before we play. Given the huge number of games its extremely unusual for us to play any game where nobody at the table needs to be taught.
