πππ DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING HIKE
Details
I've come to believe that going hiking on this day may be more crucial than hiking on Thanksgiving, and I think we all know why, but just in case you don't, I'll explain it in emojis:

What better way to counteract all those ingested calories than to bust out a great hike with a bunch of friends, and strangers who become friends!
Let's do a pretty lil' trail that has tons of visual interest and enough of a workout where you'll feel better about overindulging the day before without killing yourself on a butt-kicking peak hike.
You'll be enchanted by the rolling grasslands dotted with giant oak trees, a wooden bridge that crosses a dry creek bed, gentle climbs that take you up to spectacular vistas with jagged mountain peaks framing the background... this is a feast for the heart, eyes and soul!

We'll do about 5.5 miles or so with an elevation gain of about 600 ft., cumulative.
Sorry but you'll have to leave the doggos home for this one as it's part of a state park. Next time, doggos, next time!
So, you IN?!
Can't wait!! π π π
