We have a one off event next week, Thursday 21 November, with scientist, Kevin Davey, a national speaker traveling from Adelaide to Qld. Title of Talk is ‘The Great Breath and Modern Cosmology’.
Kevin Davey will deliver a precis of the Ancient Wisdom view of Cosmogony, as passed to H.P. Blavatsky by the Masters and recorded in the Proem of the Secret Doctrine. This will be compared with concepts of modern cosmology in relation to the Absolute and the Great Breath.
The theme of the talk relates to the creation of our universe and its demise. The similarities and differences between HPB's work and the work of modern science will be presented and discussed.

Kevin's bio is as follows: "Kevin Davey joined the Theosophical Society through the Adelaide Lodge around 15 years ago, has been President twice and Acting President once, and has been a committee member for a number of years. He is currently the State Representative for SA/NT. Kevin holds a Diploma of Teaching, a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Science (Astronomy). He taught maths and physics to year 12 level. He has a particular passion for astronomy and Theosophy."
