Get ready for a 1.5-hour tennis workout that mixes instruction and point play, all with a fun, fast-paced twist. We’ll dive into high-speed hitting, smart tactics, slick strategies, and the quick reactions, court positioning, and footwork to set up for a quality game of your potential.
Our jam-packed workout includes:
- Striking groundstrokes from the baseline
- Tackling short balls and slice-approach shots
- Nailing those drop shots
- Hitting first and drive volleys
- Perfecting put-away volleys and overheads
You'll get the scoop on the differences between first and second serves, plus learn the biomechanics to strike the ball with all sorts of spins and speeds. We’ll cover the technical motions of the serves that high school and recreational players use, right up to the rituals and breathing tendencies that the pros pull off.
We'll also focus on high-percentage and aggressive returns for both first and second serves, along with key defensive moves to keep you in the game.
Final 30 Minutes:
Wrap up the session by playing with your fellow tennis lovers with some point play, or even a coach-fed game to win a SOLID GOLD TROPHY, …well kind of! After that we finish strong with a good full-body stretch.
What to Bring:
Bring plenty of water and a towel. Also be sure to lace up them sneaks tight, because we’re going to work up a sweat. Remember, "This ain’t no country club!"
