This is a weekly 60-minute introduction session open to all adults of any age. During each weekly meeting, there will be three sections of training. Tai Chi Form refers to one of the 24 individual positions you will be learning. You will learn 3-4 Forms each week. You don't need any skills to get started, just show up with a smile. We practice safe distancing and we wear masks based on local requirements.
You can join in at any time.

  • During the first section, we conduct the complete Yang Style 24 Form. You will apply what you know and have learned, or simply follow and copy what you see everyone else doing until you can do it on your own.
  • During the second section, I will teach a set of topics to help you begin learning Tai Chi basics. This will be easy enough to get you doing a little Tai Chi immediately, and the entire 24 Form in 8 weeks. But you will begin benefiting from Tai Chi on your first day.
  • During the third section, we repeat the first section.

*** Homework: It is recommended that you do what you have learned for the rest of the week as homework and come back for the next lesson next week. The goal is for you to learn a little each week and do a little though out the week.

In 8 weeks, you will be joining the entire team as a Tai Chi practitioner looking like you know what you are doing. However, don't let looks fool you. You can learn Tai Chi moves in 8 weeks, but it takes longer to get good and a lifetime of training to master it. While you are getting good, you will be enhancing multiple areas of psychological, physical, and emotional health.

Dates and times are subject to change so make sure you register and I can contact you.
